એલર્ટ / Cyclone ‘મોચા’ આવી રહ્યું છે! ઓડિશા-બંગાળ સહિત આ રાજ્યોમાં એલર્ટ જાહેર

Cyclone Mocha: ચક્રવાતી તોફાન 10 મે સુધીમાં વધુ તીવ્ર બનશે. 10 મેના રોજ મોચા વાવાઝોડું દક્ષિણપૂર્વ બંગાળની ખાડી, બંગાળની પૂર્વ મધ્ય ખાડી અને આંદામાન સાગરની આસપાસના વિસ્તારોમાં એક ચક્રવાતી તોફાનનું સ્વરૂપ લેશે. બંગાળ અને ઓડિશા બંનેમાં આ વાવાઝોડાને લઈને એલર્ટ જારી કરવામાં આવ્યું છે.

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in coastal areas of Bengal, Odisha and Chhattisgarh besides many plain areas of the country. According to the latest information received from the Meteorological Department, there is no word yet on which parts of the country Mocha will affect and for how long.

Chance of heavy rain in these areas
According to IMD DG Mrityunjay Mohapatra, the cyclonic storm will gradually move towards central Bay of Bengal and intensify by May 10.

Due to its impact, heavy rain is likely over many areas of Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab, West Bengal, Odisha, Kerala, southern parts of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.

Cyclone alert issued in Bengal and Odisha
According to the Meteorological Department, the cyclone is likely to intensify into a depression on May 9. On 10 May, Cyclone Mocha will develop into a cyclonic storm over the areas around Southeast Bay of Bengal, East Central Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea.

Because of this, moderate rain will be seen in most areas till May 12. So during May 9 to 11, coastal and border areas may experience heavy to very heavy rains. Meanwhile, wind speed of 70-80 km per hour is likely to blow. An alert has been issued regarding this storm in both Bengal and Odisha.

રાજધાનીમાં આજે ભારે પવન ફૂંકાવાની સંભાવના
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature of 20 degrees and maximum temperature of 37 degrees can be recorded in the national capital New Delhi today i.e. on May 9. Meanwhile, there is a possibility of strong winds blowing in the capital.

On the other hand, talking about Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, today the minimum temperature can be recorded at 24 degrees and the maximum temperature at 38 degrees. However, clouds are seen in the sky here.

આ રાજ્યોમાં થશે વરસાદ
According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are likely to receive light to moderate rain and snowfall at one or two places during the next 24 hours.

Moderate to heavy rain is likely over southern parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Gradually it will cover the entire Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Sea conditions will be very rough in Southeast Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea and high waves may occur in the sea.

Light to moderate rain is likely over parts of interior Tamil Nadu, south and coastal Karnataka, Kerala and central Maharashtra.

Apart from this, light rain is likely over Odisha, South Chhattisgarh, Central Uttar Pradesh, Lakshadweep, Telangana, Vidarbha, Marathwada and Andhra Pradesh.
