- Devon Conway saved by DRS In the 8th over of the first innings, Chennai Super Kings’ Devon Conway survived being LBW due to DRS. Second ball of the over, Varun Chakraborty caroms it to a good length outside the off stump. The left-handed batsman took the pitch and came towards Conway’s pads. The batter tries to take a single but misses the ball completely.
Chakraborty and the rest of KKR appeal for LBW after the ball hits the pad. The umpire declared the batter out. Conway took the review after discussing it with non-striker Ajinkya Rahane.
